The Gas Station Podisode
3rd November NEWS
Hello and welcome to a shiny new news Podisode. Like last time, we’re later than a late thing (and Frozen Planet is on), so I’ll keep it short.
This week we talk about how Peugeot’s new 208 is a bit Korean to look at and that the inevitable GTi is going to be spectacularly rubbish. We also look at Saab and its continual teetering on the edge of inevitable failure. MINI makes an appearance following the announcement of its all new Roadster (which is going to be much, much better than the Coupé because big people can fit in it). We collectively argue about the Toyota FT-86 and hope to God that it’s half decent. America gets lucky this week as Alfa Romeo decides to concentrate its efforts to our septic cousins. And Jon’s mum has bought a new Audi A1. He felt it was worth talking about.
Wot We Haz Droven
Jon got behind the wheel of a Toyota Yaris and hated it.
Alex drove the new Vauxhall Astra GTC (and loved it) and the facelifted Mazda 3. The MPS tried to kill him but he still wants one.
Stuff On The Web That Isn’t Crap
Phil wants you all to have a look at The Next Gear’s video reviews. Because they’re chuffing great.
Jon wants you to marvel at Citroen’s video tours of the Conservatoire – it’s full of awesomeness. Trust us on that.
Alex would like you to read the latest motoring mumblings of Sam Burnett on his blog, Everything Is Somewhere Else. He’s very funny...
