The Nissan Juke-R. The crossover with balls.

Yea. That's Right.

When someone says they're going to merge a crossover family car with a sports car, you've got to raise an eyebrow (or two). But Nissan seem to have pulled it off.

If any normal person were to say that they were going to take a rather chunky crossover and cross it with a high performance sports car, you'd probably stop answering their calls till they faded into non-exitence.

However, if you heard that Nissan were going to stuff the GT-R's innards into the Juke, then I hope you would stop, comprehend, and wish that you'd thought of it first.

Thankfully, that's precisely what Nissan has done.

Almost everything under the skin of the new Nissan Juke-R is from the GT-R; the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, the 4WD drivetrain and propshaft, and the six speed transaxle.

Equally, the interior is said to merge "crossover and supercar with finesse". Lovely.

Good things with better things added to them just end up being more awesome. Like a bacon sandwich with ketchup. The GT-R is definitely the ketchup to the Juke's smokey bacon.

Anyway, take a few minutes to watch these videos about the new Nissan Juke-R and see what you think for yourselves. Enjoy.

I think I'd actually prefer a Juke-R to a GT-R, given the choice, if only for the mild ludicrousness of it all. I'm still yet to drive the regular Juke which is something I really have to change.
