The Gas Station Podisode was an experiment to start with. Having been a workie at many motoring publications, Alex wondered why ‘mainstream’ media weren't bothered about producing a regular podcast. Despite registered demand, said publications consistently cited both time and money as contributory factors. Alex didn't really understand this, so armed with 'a laptop' he teamed up with automotive superstar Jon Quirk and snapper mate Phil to record a chat about cars in Jon's Jag. The Gas Station Podisode was born.

The Gas Station Podisode has no ‘magazine’ agenda. Our aim is honesty - if something’s great, we’ll say it; if it’s not so great, we’ll say that too. We’re loud, opinionated and ready to listen to what everyone has to say but importantly, we want to have fun talking about cars and will approach every subject with scatological glee.
